The AARP Foundation's Tax-Aide program does tax return preparation, including electronic filing, at no cost to taxpayers. Though the focus is low-to-moderate income households headed by someone 50 years and older, we have neither an age limit nor an income cap. Nor is AARP membership required. If you're under 50, you're still very welcome to use Tax-Aide services.

Our in-person summer/fall tax clinic is on selective Mondays, from May 9th through October 10th, at Franklin Park Clubhouse, 2095 Franklin Avenue, Santa Rosa.

 

The summer/fall tax clinic is for taxpayers who didn't file a 2021 tax return by April 17th, or haven't filed a prior year tax return and now want to do so, or need to amend a filed tax return, or have an issue involving the IRS or the California Franchise Tax Board.

 

Appointments are required and can be made by phone, by leaving a message at 707-536-1518, or by sending a text to that number. Appointments are available as early as 9:30 a.m. and as late as 1:35 p.m.
